Despite all we have done, we had to put my mother in law in a nursing home. She can't do many things, but she still reads and reads fast. Her income is limited and buying new books is a effort on her budget. She needs The Host and Kitty Norville 5&6 if anyone could help, THanks!

If I run into any of these books, I will gladly send them for your Mom.

Trisha, If you know some titles of books that she would like to read, put a list of those books on this thread.  I'll bet alot of people would be happy to donate a book or two.  I know I would.  Or if you would like to have a look at my bookshelf and see something she would like, just pm me and I would be happy to send it to you.  Also, check out my list of unpostables, I'll be happy to send some of those as well.

Trisha, same for me.  Just look at my bookshelf and if there is anything she might like, I will send it to you.  I don't have either of the books you were asking about.

I donate books to convalescent hospitals just for that reason.

I'm just shocked that an elderly person would even be interested in the Host or Kitty Norville!

Anything I have feel free to send name & address and I will gladly send them.  Jane had a great idea about listing authors and/or titles that your Mom might like!!  I'm sure we all have books that aren't even listed yet!  I know I have.

My Mother in Law is into weird books, paranormal. She likes things like The Host, Sookie Stackhouse series, etc.

Her favorites are:

Kim Harrison

Lavryn Spencer

MaryJanice Davidson

John Grisham

Scott Turow

Which John Grisham has she not read other than the new one?  I have "Undead & Unwed" by Davidson.  If she has not read it,  I will send it to her.  Let me know.

Let me know which John Grisham books that she still needs to read.  I have a lot of them that I'm trying to send out.  Same with Scott Turow.  And if that's LaVeryle Spencer, I have some of them too, so I might even be able to send some of them!

She has always read paranormal. She loves the Sookie Stackhouse series from Charlaine Harris. She also reads alot of time travel. She is the one that got me started in reading paranormal. She didn't care for Twilight, I enjoyed the 1st one. Too each there own!.......lol

Trisha, does she need large print?  One of the libraries I frequent has a nice large print section; alot of Danielle Steele, but there are others.  I could let yo know what they have and get them to post to you for her. They have sales every other saturday; next one is June 6.  I could call you while I'm there to review the titles.  Let me know.

Also, if she likes time travel, has she tried the Outlander series by Diane Gabaldon? Each book (there are 6) is approx 1000 pages, and they are wonderful beyond words; my most favorite ever.
