Karen, if you read the whole thread, you will see this has already been presented to TPTB.  They have promised to give us an "alternative" forum, though it hasn't come to fuition yet.  What it is eventually named is more-or-less inconsequential (I suspect most here would agree) due to the fact that it's been needed for a very, very long time and the purpose will be the same regardless of the name.

I still need to follow-up with Richard and see where they are at with this.  Right now, however, I am going to go drink some champagne and celebrate a personal victory. :)

"Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace."

My thoughts on this, a quote from the Buddha.

Of course.  Pagans - come on over.  After all "pagans" were around long before the major religions.

I think it would be a good idea.  I  used to consider myself an atheist, now agnostic.  I'm very interested in spirituality and have recently become interested in eastern philosophy, but I have a real aversion to religion.  We agnostics tend to get beat up by the Christian fundmantalists a lot.  I do think we need a "safe haven."  There should be room for all opinions and points of view at PBS.

Throwing us in the general religion/spirituality pool is like "throwing christians to the lions," to make an analogy.

What do we have to do to make it happen?

I'm pagan, I'm not an atheist.  ?

I was found but now I'm lost.
Was seeing, but now I'm blind.

Kristi - come on over to the Freethinkers forum.  Freethinkers, pagans, non-christians, atheists, agnostics - all are welcome!
