I listen to an audio while I am working. Right now I am listening to Bitten. I love audio books! What are you listening to right now?

I listen to them when I am on the treadmill or in the car  by myself. or out walking by myself.  Right now I am listening to once bitten, twice shy.

I am listening to Sofie Metropolis the first book.  I listen to mine at work, when I am cleaning house and at night sometimes. Love the audio books.  I have Once Bitten, Twice Shy on in my audio library to listen to.  Is it good?  I have not listen to Bitten - is it good?

Bitten is definitely not the best book I've read listened to. It's OK. I have Once Bitten, Twice Shy on my wish list.

I listen to audiobooks when doing chores, walking the treadmill and when driving long distances. My favorite audiobook authors include: Stephenie Meyer, Naomi Novik, Tamora Pierce and Anne McCaffrey.

I love listening to audio books.  I work in a lab and can listen to them while I run certain experiments.  I also love listening when I go on long bike rides.  I've been using audible.com to get them since that works really well with my ipod.  It's also the cheapest way I've found to get them; well except maybe for here :-)

I've tried listening to a couple but I tend to zone out and miss a ton.  Audio books just don't work for me!

I have to admit I can lose my place in an audiobook at times but most of the time just lose track of the time I am spending doing some chore and they really help me to relax.  But the person's voice and the expressions that they use while reading the book can make or break an audio book.  The Sookie Stackhouse ones are fantastic on audio.

The only time I have a lot of trouble with audiobooks is when I listen to them in the car while I am not driving.  I always fall asleep and sometimes dream in my own parts to the book :-)  Then I wake up and have to stop the book so that by DH can explain what happened....

I use them at the gym.  The reader makes or breaks it for me.  I tried to listen to a John Grisham book at the gym and I kept zoning out.  I ended up reading the book instead.

Audiobooks are a great way to get through a boring commute, chores or a workout.  The reader really makes a huge difference, as does the writing style of the author.  Mysteries are my best bet on audio, although I read a lot of different genres.  I have to admit, I truly hated the Twlight books on unabridged audio (loaned to me by a co-worker).  All that teenage angst  - hours and hours of it!

The Twilight books aren't any better if you read them either.

I can't listen to romance type books either.  I had one and when they started talking about the luuuv, and velvet sheathed rods of steel, I was just rolling my eyes.  Somehow reading the stuff I am ok with , but listening to someone else read it was just too much for me.
