How do I:

  • search for unabridged audiobooks only?
  • books narrated by a certain person?

(FYI:  I'm interested in Harlan Coben novels as well as books narrated by Scott Brick.)

I would think it would work if you went into Advanced Search, selected Audio (CD and or cassette) and then put Unabridged in the key words and either Coben or Brick in the author line, If the narrator is listed it will usually be in the author line. If it is only in the description, you might find those by adding his name to the key words field instead of the Author line.

Unfortunately since not all audiobooks have an abridged or unabridged distinction or the narrator listed-I don't know if the advanced search would work.  So you might want to search tags as well-a lot of us audiobook lovers have been tagging unadbridged versions and also tagging them with the narrator's names.

Sometime's  I'll go to the Buy from Amazon button.  They often have more info. on the item I'm thinking about requesting.

You can search for narrators using the keyword search, but not all audios have the narrator listed, so you might need to go to an audio selling/renting site and find your information first, then come see if that edition is listed here. Do watch for the bindings and for the possibility that the publisher used the same ISBN for the abridged and the unabridged book, as well as either of the bound types.
