Ooops. I think I posted in the wrong thread. I am reading "Mercury in Retrograde." I like it a lot, just having a little trouble keeping the characters straight.

I'm reading "Fourth Comings" by Megan McCafferty, then will read the fifth one, something with "Fifth" in the title but I can't quite remember.

I just finished Spooky Little Girl by Laurie Notaro. Her books are hit or miss for me, but this one was very good. = ) Next up is one of the 8 trillion mysteries I have on Mt. TBR--no clue which.

Let me know what you think of the Divorce Party, Heather.  I've had it in my TBR for awhile now..and right now, I'm having difficulty choosing what to read.  Any recommendations are a plus in helping me choose.

Getting started on "The Divorce Party" was a little slow, I admit, but as you can tell by my posting timeline, I finished it quite quick! I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars, I think. :-) I would recommend it.

I'm moving on to "Stop Dressing Your Child Like a Skank" by the always hilarious, Celia Rivenbark.

I am seriously plowing through the books this month. I just started "The Big Happy" by Scott Mebus. I am loving him (I just read his "Booty Nomad" before). He kind of falls into the "lad lit" category- I wish he'd write some more actually, even if it meant WL, but it doesn't look like he has. And yes, Celia is hilarious!!!

just finished reading I HEART NEW YORK by Lindsey Kelk. fun! apparently she's published several books in UK but they are only now coming over to US. I swear Britain's chick lit is SO much better than US

Cool, I have "I heart NY" on my TBR, and looked her up and saw she "hearts" a lot of other places to get in WL for, ha ha. Good tip!

I hate when you "prepare" yourself for a trip by bringing books and turn out to hate them all. I had had this small pile of chick lit books I'd been putting off reading, they just never interested me to want to pick up. I designated them my "travel" books and brought four. Hated them ALL. Way to be stuck. Luckily, my parents who I'm visiting are HUGE readers and I only have to drop the words "Do you want to go to the bookstore?" and they're off. I ended up getting "One Day," since I was on three WL lines for it and "Hello Kitty Must Die," simply because I love HK and well, think that title is hilarious. It is weird being in a store and BUYING books (OK, actually, thanks mom and dad, haha, but we did have some good coupons). So I'm reading "One Day," and I did add it to my list in the WL thread because I'll be done with it by the time I get home. I'm saving the Hello Kitty book for when I'm wearing my HK sweatshirt in the airport :-)

I started reading "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella and could not finish it. I got disgusted with the shallow heroine. I loved her book "Twenties Girl", but I just couldn't get into this one. I'm venturing into this genre, but I'd like to read about real women. I may chose one suggested by other members.

I just finished She's Gone Country by Jane Porter and Star Island by Carl Hiaasan (I realize he's not chick lit).
