This is a wonderful recipe book with 400 depression recipes that from 1926 thru 1944 Aunt Sammy gave out over her radio show during her 15 minute broadcast six days a week for over five thousand broadcasts. The recipes are foods that everyone would eat and easy to prepare. They make meals that are prepared from scratch to save money and are recipes tried and true. I loved this book.
