There's a copy of The Lute Player by Nora Lofts available. Not mine. But I have an unpostable copy - It's got some writing on the title page and the half-title page. It's otherwise OK - if you want to order another book from my shelf.

The Lute Player is about Richard the Lionheart.

Genie--

I just ordered a Josephine Tey book from you.  I would love to have The Lute Player also.

Also, there is an available copy of The Pleasures of Love, story of Catherine of Braganza

by Jean Plaidy.

I've just posted a mass market paperback copy of Outlander ISBN #9780440212560.  This version is not wishlisted but it is in near perfect condition.  It has been read only once by me and I am very careful with my books.  Not even a spine crease!  :)   Gone

Oh....I loved the Dress Lodger.  What a story!  I wonder if there is any talk of making it into a movie?  That's one I would definitely want to see.

Pam

By the way, has anyone read the book The Great Stink?  How was it?

I just posted the Many Lives and Secret Sorrows of Josephine B. by Sandra Gulland.  It's about Josephine Bonaparte, early life.  Absolutely brilliant!  I'm amazed to see it's not wish listed.  It's ready and waiting... :)

I am posting Rosalind Miles' The Knight of the Sacred Lake.  It is not a WL book.  It is the softback trade size book and it's 99% perfect condition.

I just picked up Madame de Pompadour: A Biography by Nancy Mitford. It's pre-ISBN (1957) hardcover, good condition except a few tears on the dust jacket. If anyone wants it let me know and then just buddy me a credit for it. I hate posting books w/out ISBNs.

I also have an ARC of The Treasure of Montsegur by Sophy Burnham free with an order off my shelf.

I just posted Evelyn Hood's "The Damask Days", about a woman in the Scottish weaving industry.  It is listed as a non-ISBN, due to hardcover/paperback  editions sharing the same ISBN, but it is a mass market paperback.

That was my copy of the Plaidy - just saw you nabbed it, Felicia.  Thanks!  Would you believe it was wishlisted and was turned down?  It'll be in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest.

Beverly, I adore books about the Vikings too. Have you read Jane Smiley's book, Greenlanders? I really enjoyed it. Another of my favorite Viking books is by Joan Clark, Eiriksdottir. It was great.

I loved "Greenlanders" too!  There is a wonderful trilogy by Sigrid Undset; the Kristin Lavransdatter books (I think my spelling here is correct, but I am at work so I can't check my books) for all of the norse fans.  The books take place in Norway during the Middle Ages.  The first one is called "The Bridal Wreath" I believe, but I can double check when I get home tonight.  Sorry, my spellings were way off.  The other two are called "The Mistress of Husaby" and "The Cross".  All are well worth the reading time.
