I guess today was a good day to stop at the Goodwill by the Meijers I grocery shop at. I picked up almost brand new looking copies of The Birth of Venus and In the Company of the Courtesan by Sarah Dunant. Also found a perfectly good copy of Absalom, Absalom! and an unpostable copy of the Sound and the Fury by Wiliam Faulker. Found Reading Lolita in Tehran by Azar Nafisi too.
Only had one "bust" out of the day so far and that was finding a HC copy of Charleston by John Jakes at a garage sale which I thought was in almost new condition but which I now see has water marks on the last 30 pgs. Not like I needed more for my TBR pile. So thats 6 books for $5.60. Still overall it was a great book day. Why can't this happen every weekend? :)
