Hi. I'm new here and I have a question. I have some books that are BMI editions. When I list the ISBN #, they never come up. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm not sure what a BMI edition is, but if you want to post the books, click on the "post a book without an ISBN" button and go from there.  You'll have to enter all the information about the book (title, author, number of pages, synopsis, etc), but it will get your books into the system.

Are they published in the United Kingdom? Although U.S. Amazon does have many of those ISBN's listed, the PBS database often does not pick them up.

BMIs are usually book club, so I'm guessing yours are.  Double check that there's only one ISBN.  They often have the one on the back (for UPC scanners) and one on the copyright page (which usually matches the non-book-club edition).  If there is a second one, you'll have to make sure the PBS database info matches your book.  Most of the time, only the page count is different.  Book club books only recently started using ISBNs, so it might take a while for PBS's database to catch up.

If it doesn't match or if there isn't a second one, Holly's right - list as if it doesn't have one.

Instead of  "searching" for the ISBN  go to the post books page and ENTER the ISBN. You will likely be presented wth a fill-in-the-blanks page to enter the information for that book, including title, author, measurments, description, publisher & date, etc.

If it does not come up with that page, you will then need to use the NON-ISBN route.
