Wow, I can't believe how many interested parties chimed in on this thread.  Thanks folks!!  I will be going through & checking out some very interesting shelves & now have a great list of boxers & others to choose from.  Thanks so much & here's hoping to see you on the trading shelves...

I love trading big boxes!  Much cheaper on postage that way.  My shelf is pretty varied, and I will read most anything except sci-fi and romance.

I LOVE BoB. Please take a look and let me know if you find anything interesting. Just added quite a few books (150+)  - mostly mystery/thriller with some romance books thrown in. I am interested in mystery/thriller mainly. Some horror, some sci-fi is ok. No Romances please!

I will look at the bookshelves of those who have indicated they like big trades. I do, too. :)

I am always up for trades big or small and I have all types of books available.  So if anyone is interested, talk to me, we maybe can make a deal.

I love a Big Trade --- it clears off my shelves temporarily, and gets me excited about the newcomers!

I am a children's librarian, and I trade mostly children's books (both ways).  Check the shelves!

Blessings,

Liz

I would love to trade BOB's. =0)

I keep around 50-60 books on my shelf, fairly varied. (No romances.)

I am looking for:

  • Oprah Book Club books (see my profile for the list of what I'm still looking for..)
  • Pulitzer prize winners
  • deals on children's books
  • self help
  • business related

I don't mind big trades, or small trades. I have just become a boxer and have a lot of romances (only a few harlequins) and would love a trade.

I'm going to bump this, because it's such a popular topic, and so many have joined the conversation. I've also made several great swaps!

Thanks guys!

Great topic! I have got some excellent trades as a result of this topic. I LOVE BoB - big or small! I can pretty much find something on everyone's bookshelf (except the ones which are only romance. Sorry! I don't read them at all) so feel free to send me some offers!

I'd be interesed.  I have mostly romance, but I also have some classics, some kids books, a few mysteries and some Christian fiction.

I am always looking for trades. I just LOVE getting BOB requests and have never turned one down. (with the exception of the people with extreme allergies.....that happened once or twice) My books have been shared with my mother who is a smoker so I am always afraid to accept the smoking allergy conditions.

I don't mind big trades either, especially for horror and historical western romance (my favorite genres to read).  I like trades big and small.

I don't think I've ever had a trade larger than 7 but I don't have a problem with them as long as I can find something for myself.   I try to keep an eclectic shelf but it does have an emphasis on mysteries/thrillers, romance, and general fiction.  I prefer romances and fantasy along with the occasional mystery.

(Note: My shelf may suffer some in the near future as I just moved and haven't yet located the best places to pick up cheap or used books...)

I just joined BOB last night & it's all your faults, lol. I don't mind large trades either if you don't mind questions. ;)

I **LOVE** BoB and have traded several big boxes, upto 15 at a time. :) So please free to browse my shelf and send me an offer. I rarely turn down an offer (unless you have romance only).

I used to sell on ebay so when you all are talking about big boxes, I think 70 to 100 books, lol.

I don't mind big trades!!  Right now I have a lot of older Harlequins on my shelf, so it takes a little longer to sift through if that isn't what you're looking for.    I'll send extras of those if you are interested in them!  :-)

Yes Toni. I am used to buying book lots on eBay but PBS "lots" are usually smaller. :)

I never mind any size trade and so far I have been able to find something on most any shelf.  I used to be a big romance reader but I have tried other things because of PBS.  I am starting to love certain mysteries.  I don't have much posted right now because I have done quite a few deals and have a load of books to read and repost.  Most of my shelf now is either children's or young adult level.  I love to trade!!!!
