I am utterly confused- I selected 4 books from someone's list- they selected 4. I went to check and 1 of the 4 that I choose were no longer on the list!?! Does that mean that someone already requested that book? I placed a hold on the 4 books that that person selected from my bookshelf so I wouldn't accidentally exchange them but now they don't show up on there box??!!??

If the member did not accept your offer for the books, they could have been requested by another member and would then be removed from the list.

Yeah they haven't accepted yet but I had already accepted their offer-so then I have to choose another book that I did not initially want?

if you want to trade 4 for 4 yes- you can do an un-equal trade if you really don't want a different book, or you could ask the OP to remove one of the ones they wanted from you, but you have to take them off hold first so that person can see them again, I am not sure if they automatically go back to the box ori f they have to add them back.
