I always prefer to us the printable postage offered to mail books. However, I do not think that it is available for mailing box of books. Am I correct. Also, I see in different discussions that people use the ADC machine in the lobby when mailing books. I also prefer to use this, but  it is not available for Media Mail. Am I missing something? I always have to go inside to a postal employee.

Thanks for your help

Hi I don't know much about the printable postage, but regarding the ARC machine and media mail..my po has an "old" scale in the lobby that you can put your package on it, and the select the shipping method, media mail is a choice it then pops up the cost, I write this on my package, (sometimes I have more than one and generally I have at least 1 if not 3 kids in tow...so it's easy to forget) then go to the ARC and select buy a stamp of a diffrent valuwe, then I enter in the amount and drop into the mail.

Now that said, I've never done it with a large package, but maybe 4 books wrapped together.

For sending Box-O-Books with printable postage, just pick one of the books in the box and choose Send to a Friend. Enter the address and correct weight for the Box and print the wrapper. Then mark the book mailed and received from within your own account.

I do what Cathy does. I do the same thing for books I'm sending out for a game.  If it's WL then I use a dummy book. But with BOB you should be able to repost one of the books and use the send to a friend option.

Thanks for the good tips. Now I will be able to print postage from home. It is a long trek to the PO, so I am not too inclined to do that.

Thanks again
