Anybody want to share a commercial ebook site that you find easy to use?  Most of my ebooks are public domain or FLP but I did buy a few from cyberreads and found that site very pleasant to use.

What formats are you looking for?

If you're still looking for some Public Domain books, I like Manybooks.com. Free and they have various formats for the PD books.

Calibre now has a list of book sites where you can buy DRM-less books.

Fictionwise.com has various formats. I don't know how long they'll be in business, so just save your purchases on your own computer. Smashwords has a lot of original fiction.

There's quite a few out there. I know there's a list floating around somewhere...

I like to get ePub books on a Sony reader.  Don't like the Sony store or their prices.

Any of the Public Domain books you get from Gutenberg or other places should be DRM-less, so you can load them onto a Sony. I use Calibre, and it can convert any DRM-less format to Epub. You can also get the stories on your device when you plug it in. Just makes sure you close the Sony library before running Calibre.

At any ebook store, look under the instructions/information about file types. Many places not only sell epub, but they're not locked. Calibre has a list Here and it's fairly new.

There's a discussion with link to more DRM-less sites Here.

One site that sells ePub books (as well as books in other formats) is Books on Board:  www.booksonboard.com.   I haven't used that site much, so I can't really give an opinion on how their prices compare.  Note these are books with DRM.

I visit inkmesh.com and the http://www.freeebooksblog.com/  Both of these highlight free books from multiple sources.  Most are not old classic public domain books.

Obooko.com has free ebooks as well.
