He had a lot to learn about being a father...and she was just the one to teach him.

Dylan Vanguard wanted to do right by the tiny infant in his care, but he couldn't overcome the coldness and betrayal he'd felt ever since his wife told him the baby wasn't his. After she died, he took on the role of father, but simply couldn't bring himself to feel love for another man's child.

Lana Lord knew a lot about babies--and parents. The moment she saw Dylan with little Greg, she knew there was something very wrong. When he asked her to teach him the basics of child care, she agreed. Maybe, she hoped, she could teach him how to love as well.
