And while the two attempt to dismiss the threat to her life, the danger is very real. When someone takes a shot at Juliet, Beau starts to take his bodyguard duties very seriously, while Juliet struggles to deal with the fact that someone wishes her harm.

Not only does Be My Baby bubble with hilarious dialogue, superb sexual tension, and the color and heat of New Orleans, but it also possesses a solid suspense subplot that perfectly balances the wonderful romance.

Read all 372 pages in a day. Action doesn't stop, and the steamy 15 pages or so made me, well, have a hot flash!

Very good, fast paced. I liked it.

This is a great story with a fast-moving plot. I just loved the New Orleans accent of the main character Beau Dupree.

I love this contemporary group of books by Susan Anderson. They are a great light read when you just need to kick back!

Put a Yankee beauty named Juliet Rose Astor Lowell in New Orleans and assigned a city cop named Beau who has not interest in babysitting a spoiled little rich girl and the resulting heat has nothing to do with weather.

This was a really cute romance and a pretty fast read.
