This book has six weeks of daily devotions based on the Bible relating to motherhood, loosely collected around a boot camp theme. Topics include being mentally at peace with parenting, battling fatigue, growing into motherhood & praying for your litte one. Devotions are short ( a couple pages) and center around a scripture, with a short prayer at the end.
As other reviewers have said, this book doesn't have a lot of hands-on, practical advice, although there are a few pieces (Lorrie's coleslaw recipe).

I went through this after my first baby was born and found many of the devotions encouraging and apropros to my day. New moms may enjoy.

dont be fooled by the title - this book doesnt really have any tips on first 6 weeks - its more of a spiritual book with passages etc from bible for new Mums. Thats all fine - just the title makes you think its a more practical guide.
