A great book for first time parents on fun and inventive ways to play and interact with your wee ones. Using household items, this book shows ways to help develop the senses, tactile learning, interaction with objects and people and more. I had such fun using this book with both my babies.

Great for the first 9-12 months. As a stay-at-home mom I got a lot of use out of this book. Great, simple ideas. Some were pretty common sense in my opinion, but overall I liked the book and would use it again if I had another baby!

This is the Gymboree book that gives you 100 activities to do with your baby 1-9 months. It includes songs to sign and stuff they do in the gymboree class. Good for the stay at home mom that needs new ideas to keep learning going!

Tons of ideas for activities to engage your baby. Things that it helps your baby learn:

Balance, Listening Skills, Bilateral Coordination, Lower-Body Strength, Body Awareness, Problem Solving, Eye-Foot Coordination, Fine Motor Skills, Grasp and Release, Gross Motor Skills, Language Development, Size and Shape Discrimination, Social Skills, Spatial Awareness, Upper-Body Strength, Visual Discrimination, Visual Tracking and much, much more.

My child loved the activities that I followed from this book. It starts with activities for new born infants, up to about 1 year old. Incredible resource with skills index, glossary and index.

I found this book extremely helpful during a time when after fulfilling the baby's needs, I just didn't know what to do with him besides hold him when he wasn't sleeping. This book is great and I was so excited as the baby responded and was entertained by the activities listed in this book. It was as much fun for me as it was for him. They should give these out at the ob's office, the hospital upon delivery or pediatricians office.

I got this for my 1 year old because all the toddler books are too advanced and the 9 mo. and up ideas are no good. They are all very obvious things that parents probably already do.
