Hilarious and delightful...much of the fun is in the footnotes! This is the way music history ought to be taught. This book is a short chronicle of the lives of the great musical composers. A fast and funny read that imparts tons of little-known information. I read things here, that are not in any musical history book I've ever seen before. All facts are guaranteed by the author to be 100% true and accurate. Who knew there were so many irreverent facts about Back, Beethoven and the Boys?
