Carly Phillips writes with such natural ease and humour, I feel like I'm watching a play sometimes....excellent book...fun...great characters. I've read this whole trilogy and it truly compliments one another, yet, you could still read any of the books by themselves and enjoy them.

This book is the first book of a 3 book series. It is a wonderful & humorous romance book and the first book I have ever read from this author. The book really captures the essence of a close knit family and how they deal with love, promises, commitment & romance in a small town. Roman Chandler, the ultimate bachelor, is determined to give his ill matchmaking mother the grandchildren she desires. He just doesn't expect to lose his heart along the way.

I want to read more books from this author.

I really loved this book and the whole series. I was very surprised at my reaction since I'm not into romances that much, but this series sucks you in. I finished each of the three books in less than 24 hours a piece.

Foriewgn correspondent Roman Chandler has always prized his freedom above all else. Now losing a coin toss has sealed this youngest brothers fate. Finding someone to escort down the aisle is the easy part-every wannabe bride in sleepy Yorkshire Falls is itching to get hitched to this gorgeous, gobe trotting Chandler man. But Roman still lusts after the woman who got away. Stunning heartbreaker Charolette Bronson has come home to put roots down and get her sexy lingerie business off the ground. She wants a man who won't go chasing off to the far corners of the earth for a breaking news story, He wants her to say I do.
Will she- or won't she? Can the love of the right woman transform a go-it-alone guy into a stick-around-forever kind of man
