Four early novellas: Rage, The Long Walk, Roadwork, and The Running Man. After Columbine, Rage and The Bachman Books were allowed to go out of print, but the other three are still available as separate paperbacks.
A rare treat for Stephen King devotees- four spellbinding novels under one cover, published under the pseudonym of Richard Bachman, but with all the gripping suspense of wintage King.
Rage- a high school Show-and-Tell session explodes into a nightmare of evil...
The Long Walk- Only death can keep you from the finish line- in the ultimate competition of the all-too-near future...
Roadwork- What happens when one good-and-angry man fights back is murder- and then some...
The Running Man- In the year 2025, the best men don't run for President, they run for their lives...
Read this book a long time ago, right after Schwartzneger made "The Running Man". The story is only vaguely like the movie. The story I really liked and remember the most was "The Long Walk". I'm not a big horror fan, but I enjoyed this book.
This version includes the controversial novella "Rage." In later editions, "Thinner" replaces this novella in the collection.
Good addition for big fans. See the early work.
This is one book I just couldn't put down! There are four different stories within the book.
Four stories written by Stephen King that are great!! As usual.
Must read for any Stephen King fan. Four tales: Rage, The Longwalk, Roadwork and The Running Man.
Short stores from Stephen King writing as Bachman
I gave this a 5 because it scared me so badly I stopped reading, lol.
Very creepy short stories.
Early workd of King? If they were early - how on earth did he write such horror that was so good? Especially the Rage. It's a page out of today's headlines. A must read for a King fan!
with an introduction by the author "Why I was Bachman". All good stories.
One of my collection of Stephen King books. All are up for trade. Check out the rest.
This book was written by Stephen King when he was using the pseudonym of Richard Bachman. Between 1977 and 1984. These stories are some of his earliest work. Anyone who enjoys a good Stephen King book is sure to love this. 3 stories in 1 book. Book is a paper back in good condition (crease on front cover). Not from a smoke free enviroment however books are kept in a closet on shelves they do not smell of smoke according to a non-smoker that I have asked.
This book has a torn corner on the cover. If you like it PM and I will send it free no credit needed.
