Book Reviews of The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events, Bk 1) (Audio CD) (Unabridged)

I had heard such great things about Tim Curry's narration, especially the different voices that he uses however, I found it to be somewhat dry.

This unabridged production is the first in a series of many "unfortunate events." I thought it was funny and entertaining and a good way to keep the kids happy on a long road trip.

Tim Curry reads Lemony Snicket - what more could someone what! Wonderfully produced and featuring a delightful "Interview with the Author." Fun for adults and children, but definitely not a typical "...lives happily everafter" story.

I really enjoyed this as I was driving to work!

This is one of my 9 year old sons favorite series. He loves the downs and even more downs of the kids. Well narrated by Tim Curry.
