This is a phenomenal book! The synopsis doesn't say much about the story but it's about Alexis and her little sister Kasey. Kasey loves and collects all kinds of dolls. One day strange things start happening around the house and Alexis realizes that Kasey has changed. The house has a past and it wants to come back! Alender definitely put the creepy aspects of this story to life. I myself am terrified of dolls so I was looking forward to getting a little edgy after reading it, which totally happened.

You can't help but love these characters. Alexis is a smart ass which I totally dig and Kasey is so shy and cute that you want everything to be okay. I loved this unique story and I'm awaiting the second one to come in so I can see what else unfolds!

This book gets 5 stars from me! It thrilled me and kept me on my toes. I couldn't wait to see what happened next. If you're looking for a nice creepy tale, this is a good place to start!

I really liked this book! It was different from the YA stuff I've been reading lately & what a nice change! Fast paced & unpredictable which isn't always so easy to find. If you get a chance to read this one, definitely give it a won't be disappointed.

I don't really understand the high ratings for this book, however, I am a senior citizen but I read the YA books sometimes to know what young readers might like, so--

I thought this was all over the place and on the boring side (for me), it is very slow and draggy (for me), I didn't really find anything scary or creepy about it but yet I guess the young reader might be able to relate to the high school theatrics meaning I guess it's always the cheerleaders that are the 'mean girls'? I don't think so but this book is just another one that makes the cheerleaders look like selfish mean girls but yet the most popular? So that makes the main girl character look and sound like a creepy castoff loner with no friends and whines about it on every page

I'm giving it only 3 stars (2 is really enough) just because I think the YA reader would probably like it along with the paranormal aspect to it too

This is a great story. It drags you in and keeps you going. I stayed up too late several nights, not wanting to put it down.
