I feel that this book is very under rated. It is an absolutely excellent book!! A very believable story of real life! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Dale Cramer's other book, "Sutter's Cross" is also good, but I thought this book was better yet.

Another great book by Cramer. The characters are so believable and it is easy to get caught up in their imperfect lives. His writing is so poignant in its' simplicity and it is lyrical at the same time. I could not put this book down. This author has that unique ability to get you to buy into the characters right away.

I didnt like this book at all.You know how they have chick lit for women well this book was written for the men.It was a story all about men and how they mined. It was surely not written for a woman.I found it quite boring the way these men carried on through everyday life.I found myself pushing to read it.I did like Dale cramers other book so I deceiced to pick this one up wish I hadnt.would recomend it for men to read they can relate to this stuff not for women youll be bored.
