Earlier in the evening Vicky Lucci had champagne and a wedding on her mind. When her boss calls her stating there is an emergency at the hospital where she is the risk manager, she leaves to go check it out.
There is a gunman loose in the hospital. Vicky finds him and he takes her as well as hostages.

This was a pretty good read. It gives the history of the gunman with the hospital and you see into his world. Its an interesting situation and really a no-win one. His wife can't be put back whole. Even though you know this, you continue to read to see how it turns out.
