All I can say is WOW. This was a great book and a great way to end the series. This was fast paced and well written, I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for another series by Maberry.

Maberry can really write! This is the third book in a series, the first is "Ghost Road Blues" which got me hooked! The second book, "Dead Man's Song" made me a big fan. This book has cemented Maberry up there with other great story tellers like King and McCammon. He creates atmosphere well and really brings you into the story. You feel like you know the characters in his books...I couldn't put this book down, but I didn't want the story to end either...all the great books can do this. The pace in the book is fabulous. 5 Stars for this book and the series. I highly recommend!!!!

Wow. What an exciting and satisfying conclusion! I must say that I really and truly enjoyed this trilogy. I was so impatient to read it! The entire book was fast-paced, thrilling and just a lot of fun to read. I hope that Maberry does return to Pine Deep in the future. He has artfully created a very rich setting that seems to have other stories waiting to be told. I know that I will be keep an eye out for all of his future books!
