I normally am not a "romance" fan, but I AM a "Christmas Carol" fan and was intreguied at the prospect of a story with Scrooge being a female, plus it being a Christian romance made it a bit easier to make that suggestion.
I am EVER so glad that I bought this book. I picked it up on my way to my office and literally stood in the middle of my living room and read the first 15 or so pages before I realized that I was just standing there, so I sat on the couch and read the ENTIRE book - okay, it's only a 170 page book and it was easy reading, but still, it was such a good and clean storyline that I just couldn't put it down.
I absolutely LOVED that the "Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future" were replaced by "Faith, Hope and Charity". The Chrisitan theme was right-on and scripturally correct.
The end of the book was as expected, but the very last page made me smile and made my eyes mist over a bit (admittingly, when I read, I get into the characters and storyline a bit too much at times!). It was a sweet ending.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of A Christmas Carol, a Christian, or a fan of love stories!
