Interesting concept from a political standpoint, but the big question is, "Who's in charge"?

A great blend of Tom Clancy and John Grisham.

Similar to the works of Tom Clancy. An American Cargo ship has been
seized by terrorists off the coast of Indonesia.....America prepares
for war and Jim Dillon;a Congressional assistant finds himself in
the center of a firestorm that rages from Washington to killing fields
a world away.

I prefer a little more action. The book was a little slow for all the dialogue, but the dialogue was interesting in that this book predates 9/11. A lot of the ideas about terrorism, and pending terrorism. It made the author look like a psychic... At any rate there were some excellent points made about our government, liberties, freedom, etc.
