What if terrorists hijacked a brand new US merchant ship and murdered its crew, but the President refused to retaliate? What if the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces ws unwilling to use America's military might to defend and protect American citizens from attack? What if Congress used long forgotten power in the Constitution to authorize military action without the President's approval?

Author of Top Gun taught at the Citadel and served in Naval Intelligence for several years is now a Lawyer.

I prefer a little more action. The book was a little slow for all the dialogue, but the dialogue was interesting in that this book predates 9/11. A lot of the ideas about terrorism, and pending terrorism. It made the author look like a psychic... At any rate there were some excellent points made about our government, liberties, freedom, etc.
