When a priest climbs to the top of the basilica in the Vatican, was he pushed off or did he fall? A very good, well-written suspense novel written by a Vatican insider. Murder, drugs, Vatican politics.

Great thriller about a murder in the Vatican City. A newly-elected, young, ambitious pope and a monk fighting his own painful past are brought together by this mystery. Wonderful!

This book just blew me away when I first read it when it came out. It was (and is) fabulous. I couldn't wait for the next book. And then I found out he died a month after the book was published. We lost a writer who was so amazing. I remember the shock when I realized that this book was it.

So read it!

A young pope with an unexpected past. Of course the byzantine workings of the Vatican with mystery and intrigue. You'll love it!
