This was an amusing work of historical fiction, and it proves that con artists have been around since the start of time. Eco's works are always deliciously complex with robust characters. This book was especially interesting as two stories were being told at once. This one is a must for all lovers of hi-fi (historical fiction). Feel free to email with any questions. ~LeAnn

An epic adventure by Umberto Eco. This was my first foray into Eco and it was a bit daunting. The story is full of adventures and travels, and some of those purely the invention of the main character, Baudolino, so it's easy to get a bit flustered. Very imaginative and colorful.
