Kind of hard for me to review, however, I would probably label it as a romantic suspense, there is some romance in it (which didn't add anything to the story), and the suspense was complicated and twisted up involving so many characters.
I would say I 'trudged' through this book as romances are not my thing and this mystery wasn't a good one but one that has been done before by others, I did find there was way too much repetition in it, each little thing was repeated over and over and finally you can skip and skim a lot of the pages just to get past that and this isn't a long book (285 pages)so you can imagine how short the actual storyline would be without all the repeating.
It doesn't take long before you can figure who did what and who is who and so on, so I can only give it 3 stars just because it is a 'fairly' good read
