Anyone see it?  I was VEEEEERY disappointed with it!  First and foremost, not ONCE did they reference the "16 Moons" song....  I could list a lot of other complaints, and can not see how they could do a second movie with what they did in this one.  Thoughts???

I was VERY disappointed with it as well. They totally cut out a few characters and the storyline was all wrong. I was yelling the entire time, my boyfriend has to tell me to shush lol.

We saw the movie as well. I was leery because the previews showed it all wrong. I was disappointed with the comparison to the book. If someone hadn't read the book, it wasn't that bad. Still a let down though

Lisa, if you haven't read the book, then it's probably ok.  but they just totally messed with it....

It's a wonderful movie nonetheless. Just not even remotely comparable to the book. I liked it, just shouldnt have read the book first. I;m just going to tell myself that the movie has nothing to do with the book. Then I wont be disappointed with the next movie.

My dd and I both read the book (2 years ago) and watched the movie. We really liked it and had no problems with the changes. Of course we forgot a lot in those 2 years....lol

Yeah, I'm waiting to get the first book to that series in the mail. The movie looked good but its probably nothing like the book. Cant knock it until i read the book and see the movie though. Movies based off of books are normally very good but they arent very close to the book in details and facts.

I saw the movie yesterday and liked the movie. I have not read the book. I liked Jeremy Irons and Emma Thompson a lot in it.
