One of the best books I\'ve read on this subject. The author\'s wit and talent makes this book a pleasant and informative read. What could have been a morbid lament is turned into a very honest, interesting look at a woman facing the ultimate fear.

Powerful and uplifting book about Ruth Picardi who died at 33 y.o. from breast cancer. A journalist, she communicated courageously and movingly with her readers, friends, and family about life and her own experiences. This book contains her writings to these various groups of people.

Very touching. Hard not to shed a few tears. Especially when I read the letters to her children.
