Good book of short stories. Good for a quick read.
Makes you think...
The stories can be almost like a mystery, or a straightforward ghost story. I am enjoying it because the short stories allow me to read it as I have free time.
This book was a good read. It contains a bunch of short stories that have to do with death. I didn't read all of the stories, because they were very creepy. For instance, a girl runs over someone and doesn't realize it. The next day, she gets a phone call from the girl's ghost. The author has also done another book like this, although less creepy. It is called All Hallows' Eve.
Some of the stories were good, yet others were not so good in my opinion. Parents be warned there is mild language and several references to Suicide. There is also talk of Drunk Driving in one story.
These are great short ghost stories. I'm not really that big on horror stories as I scare easily, so these had just the right blend of creepy story without being too gory or too scary not to be able to sleep at night. I think the scariest story was the first one, "Drop by Drop." The others were a nice blend of silly, gothic, creepy, and sad.
This book was very interesting. I haven't read it in many years, but when I did, I was impressed.
