I have a friend who is having weird revelations. She is telling me that somebody named "Marcia **last name edited just in case** " or something  in San Jose is out to get me!  Um,yeah, I don't even know anybody in California.  She thinks there is more to it so she's "channeling" or whatever.  Anybody have any weird experiences with this kind of thing? I don't see many rich psychics except Sylvia Browne and John Edward. I think that some are a hoaxes. Tell me your thoughts.

I think your dreams can tell you a lot if you know how to interpret them....I firmly believe it is one of the many ways that God/dess (and others) speak to us...

I have had to much experience with psychic phenomena to not believe, but there are a lot of frauds around....

That's true. I'm pretty cautious and am protected somewhat. It was just strange.

I believe everyone has varying degrees of "psychic" abilities.  I believe they can be developed if it doesn't come natural to you.  I don't believe that being psychic is always about foreshadowing future events.  I went to see Sylvia Browne once.  This was probably about 10 or more years ago.  What a waste of money!  I left thinking that that woman was so full of herself.  I expected her to talk about something or discuss her abilities or SOMETHING.  But she just sat in a chair in the middle of a huge auditorium and asked people to come to the microphone and ask her questions.  When no one came forward she acted like she was going to leave.  The answers she gave to people's questions where so generic and she put people's own opinions about their issue down.  She seemed to be all about helping herself and not helping people help themselves or encouraging them to trust or have faith in their own abilities.

I did believe her abilities were genuine but that ego just turned me off and that was the end of listening to her for me.  She certainly has been churning out some books over the years.  wow

I definitely believe there is meaning/value to dreams.  I've had precognitive dreams but I think there's much more to dreams than that.  I've been recording my dreams for about 10 years and I study them and use them to help me figure *stuff* out.

I believe in psychics, sort of.  I've read tons of books and been to many psychics.  Some are really good and some are really bad.  There are many, many dimensions that we do not "see" with our eyes in this universe.  I've never seen or heard anything from other dimensions except for flashes.  I do believe in all that stuff though.  My daughter once saw a ghost next to her in the back seat of her friend's car.  Sometimes we are open to things and sometimes we are not.  Some people are more open than others.

But if our antenna is open to anything at all, than who knows what you get.  Your friend could be picking up anything or anybody.  There are many  beings out there that would love to communicate and they are not all good.  You have to be careful; your friend should be careful.  Say prayers to your guides and angels. Ask them that only what is in the highest good should come through.  Tell your friend also.

I hope this is somewhat helpful.  I started it a while ago and now I'm really tired.  But I'm going to submit it anyway.

I absolutely do believe in those things.  I've had experience myself with precognitive dreams.  Absolutely.  And I do believe that some people have psychic gifts - I don't, lol, not when I am awake at least.

The Bible is very clear about the reality of prophetic dreams - IE the story of Joseph.

Oh - I tell you an uncanny psychic who says she isn't even psychic - Eveyln Paglini.  Dr. Paglinia is UNREAL.

She has plenty of naysayers, but to me, the woman has been uncannily right.  I listen to her.

I agree with angelstar. Your friend needs to protect herself from earthbound spirits. I've had a few psychic experiences, just enough to validate that they can be real. But always be careful when dabbling in the unseen.

Re: dreams, they can be precognitive. They can show past lives. They can also be due to over eating...LOL. Keeping a dream diary is a good idea.

Once my brother had a dream that my aunt's house caught fire. A few weeks after her house did indeed catch fire. Luckily, it wasn't a total loss.

I also agree with romanshopper and have had some of those dreams myself.  Though there are many, many fakes.  In my opinion, the more open and accepting you are - the more 'those' experiences come to you.

I believe in some degree in ESP, but not I am not sure I believe in professional psychics.  I know the police have used them with some degree of success, but pros who come on tv and claim to be able to tell you stuff.  Nah!

As for dreams, I do think they have meaning but I don't buy into the universal interpretation of symbols.  I think that dreams are very personal and individualized.

Can I tell you my trippy dream story?  13 years ago, I had this amazing dream about a yellow dog that somehow chose me as it's owner.  I can't remember all the specifics of the dream off hand (I did write it down at the time because it blew me away.  It was so vivid!)  The bottom line of this dream was that this dog was my teacher.  In the dream the dog was always at my side and I was learning life stuff from it.  It was one of those dreams where you wake up kind of like "man, that was heck a cool!"

A couple months after that dream, my bro calls from Oroville.  "We bought you guys a puppy.  It was left by the owner at the pet store up here.  It's a yellow Lab."  When I saw her, I did get a Twilight Zone kind of feeling.  She didn't look like the dog in my dream (it was a pure Lab and Sierra is Lab/Golden with white paws with spots and a white streak up her head)  But, I could not help but wonder about the timing.

I can say without a doubt that Sierra has been my teacher is so many ways over the last 12 1/2 years.

Coincidence?  We weren't even thinking of getting a dog at that time.  It had been 6 years since we had our previous dog put to sleep.  We weren't even talking about getting one.  And, why did he get a yellow Lab?  I never even mentioned whether I liked Labs or not (I'd never had one before).  Weird!

OK, I'll share one of mine too.  About five-yrs-ago or so it was mid-morning and I had a dream I was watching a plane blow up (sounds like the movie, I know).  Very vivid, I can still remember minor details.  Anyway, I was home alone and all was quiet.  When I woke up, I went down stairs, got something to eat in the fridge, and then turned on the tv.  Right there on the news was the story of the plane explosion in France - aparently happened the same time I was dreaming.  Weird?  Coincidence?  I don't know.  Not very frequent, but similiar things have happened to me like that before too.

???

I belive in dreams and I think angels contact us in different ways.  Keep your faith and read up on dreams. It all works out in the long run. It may be a while but I think every thing comes full circle.

I dream things that come true..they usually happen the way it does in the dream and if I dream somthing that is going to come true its like im being shown what is going to happen and thoughts are passed in thedream but no talking is in the dream..or I will dream things in like a parable type sense..

Like I dreamed one time in July of 1997 my sister and her then boyfriend wre standing a few feet away from me and there was a little boy in front of them.  Long story short once I saw like a few months later what her then boyfriend but now husband looked like when he was a little boy  and the little boy in my dream looked exactly like my now broinlaw..In May of 2004 my nephew was born and he looks just like the little boy I dreamed about..

I believe in God and I do think he does show you or warn you of things to come good or bad...

I do think there is more to the spiritual world than what we can see.  If we could see into it would be scarey.  Somethings we dont need to see or know.   Long story short I was taking random pictures and in the pic is a mans face.  as to who the man is I dont know  so like a few days later  I took pics again and this time said   Im taking Pictures if you want to get in them you can  lol  welp  I was kidding  at the time but I got an image but its like so clear see through its almost hard to make out in the pic .  It looks  like a black woman..   My Point to this be careful when dealing with spirits and psychics  they delve into things that we dont need to be a part of.  I was just joking and got a odd picture..Dont play with that stuff..

wasnt there a man in the bible who knew what dreams meant...oh yeah... it was :

Daniel interpreted dreams for King  nabucodonosor  in the bible.  ( Daniel 5, verse 17)

and some psychics are for real also helping police in investigations.

and some of us as women get a 6th sense feeling when something is going to happen to a loved one..

so even though some of you say that the bible says to stay away from witchcraft and yadayada and on and on... dreams were interpreted in the bible.

as for john edward... i personally dont go for his stuff....some people do...

i do like sylvia browne..

and i myself do tarot and tea leaf readings..

a good site to visit that has NOTHING to do with witchcraft is:

www.dreammoods.com        <----- for your dream interpretations...

)0( blessed be, yvonne

When I was a little kid and now too but not as frequently, I would have these crazy dreams. Then years later they would come true. Once when I was about 7yrs I dreamt someone was chasing me. I couldn't see them but was very scared woke up screaming. Years later when I was about 17yrs. I took a job in a restaurant and the cook sent me down to the basement where they kept some chest freezers. When I got down there it was EXACTLY like that dream! Everything, every detail the same- I'd never been there before! I quit that day. I took it that someone was trying to keep me safe. I listened!  My Grandmother had things like this too. She dreamt about her son who was over seas during the war. He was in a place with a terrible storm and she watched an airplane get blown end for end. She woke up screaming and couldn't be consolled. Later when they  finally heard from my Uncle, it turned out there was some kind of horrible storm where he was at the same time and day she dreamt it! He was in the middle of it and it was as she saw it. I think these things can be kind of hereditary, talk to some family, they may have had similar things happen too. I believe in God and Jesus as my savior-  I do know he protects us and there is a great deal we may never understand.
