I can NOT believe I just dropped a wish listed Ellora's Cave book in the TOILET!!!  OMG!!!!!   I don't know if I can even offer it as an unpostable, what do you think??  The title is Training To Pleasure by Julian Masters.  I'm not done with it but I sure didn't plan to give it a bath~ :(

Toilet..eww I think maybe you can post it as unpostable but I think you should let who ever wants the book that it felt into the toilet. I'm assume it was just the toilet water and nothing else..right?

I hate to say but the water was just a little bit yellow......so maybe if I store it with potpourri for a while, after its dry, it won't smell bad.....or should it just be tossed regardless??

Thanks for your opinions

Then just throw it out. This why I stop taking my books anywhere near water(I used love taking my books to the beach) because I'm afriad something like this would happen to me.

The toilet? Sadly I think it should be tossed/recycled, I just can't imagine it being cool to send someone a book that was in the toilet- credit free or otherwise.

Maybe you thought it was toilet training to pleasure?  lol.  Ummm, sorry, I realize you're upset, but I couldn't resist :p

ewww. Toss it!  I keep an unpostable near the commode.  If it was just slight water damage, I would say offer it as a freebie-but even a recently flushed toilet is just gross.

I recently got chocolate on a WL book. I baked brownies earlier in the day. I had washed my hands since but I must have had some batter on my wrist or somewhere because sure enough-a spot on the book I was reading.  I just looked up a bunch of my TBR WL books and put 5 of them on hold at the library.  When they come in at the library I'm just going to post the copies I have.  I've damaged more than a couple WL books no matter how careful I am with them.

You're right Mary, now that the initial shock has worn off, it is too gross to even consider sending to anyone. It would be different if it was coffee or some other liquid.  But not diluted body fluid.  Clumsy me!!!

LOL!  Honestly I don't even really like this book, so far, so maybe it was a subliminal action. Oh wait, maybe I am developing some paranormal ability after all this time, at last!  LOL
