Do these have to be read in order? I ended up with 2 copies of bk 1 and 1 copy of book 2.  I found someone to post both too.  If they don't have to be read in order than I can just read book 2 and send the order off quickly then go back to book 1 later.  If they need to be read in order than I'll hold off on accepting the request a couple more days.

I don't think you have to read them in order.  They do have recurring characters and/or storylines, but it's not anything imperative to the plot of one particular book, if that makes sense.
