Stunning variety of magazine writing! Although I am not interested in some of the topics, this book did not fail to entrance me with superb writing and thought-provoking articles. I have always enjoyed Anne Fadiman's writings, but it was the article called "Lucky Jim," by Elizabeth Gilbert that inspired me the most in this volume.

It's a brilliant idea, all the best writing from excellent magazines that I never have time to read every week put in one convenient, easy to carry along for the commute, place. Everyone of these articles was more educational than any textbook they made me read in High School.
