Each book in this volume is a series of short accounts followed by a Bible verse. However, this is not "spiritual humor." It's more of a day in the life of Becky. I just love her humor.
One example, Becky had asked her son to return to the house to get her a banana. "The next thing I knew he was running toward the house with his arms flattened against his ribs and his head cocked to one side. Then he turned around and ran back to the car in the same peculiar way - without a banana for my breakfast.
'Son! What are you doing?' I demanded. He looked back at me with sincere suprise.
'Didn't you tell me to run like a banana?'"
I can just see my kiddos doing that - too funny!
