I'd like to avoid ebay due to the high fees and IRS scruitiny, but I haven't had much success on etsy. Any other good sites to sell your jewerly at (fairly) low cost?

I was going to recommend Etsy, but I see you've tried that. I don't know of any others for handmade jewelry.

I have a small shop for my handmade crafts on Etsy. Absolutely low cost to list any item you want to sell. It offers pay through PayPal - which makes is doubly safe, and its a great place to meet other crafter's and feel inspired. I may not sell too much on my little shop right now, but it did open doors for me to sell some things at a local hobby shop. And its a great way to feel like you have your own small business to manage! View the site for more details. |

I think that the handmade jewelry market is so saturated, it is hard to sell your items. I went to a craft show last year and there were 14 jewelry booths there. It is very discouraging to people who are just starting out or even the veterans who have been at it awhile. I have listed some items on ETSY, but have had no luck. I can't hardly even give my stuff away. Usually, it just gets tossed into a box and then I start on another project. Most of the people that mke beaded jewelry have their own websites, but that it their full time job. Brodi |

Try Art Fire. It's inexpensive and easy to use. Here's a link to my shop over there, which I opened a few days ago. |

Linda, Just wanted to let you know that I just opened a store there, too. My user name there is BlueInk. I don't know if you get anything for a referral, but I did put you down as a referring me when I signed up. |
