There are many homeschool publishers that do not use ISBN's.

What do you think is the best way to post homeschool books without ISBN's?

Methods I've tried -

  • create a new listing through "Post Book without ISBN" option
  • search by title and post directly to a wishlist

I've had success and failure with both options.

Please share your opinions here - what works for you, what would you like others to do when posting these books.

If they're wish listed, I'd post from the WL member's account.

For all others, you need to post them as "book w/o an ISBN".

If they're HS'ing books, you could try posting in our deals thread and listing what you have.  Even if they aren't WL'ed, someone may still want them.

I assume you're talking mostly about Abeka books?  They drive me nuts since they don't use ISBNs.

Yes, A Beka is one of the large publishers that doesn't use ISBN.

Most of the small publishers don't use them either - Beautiful Feet study guides & Pathway reading program are two examples.
