I turn to this book time and time again in an effort to cultivate good habits of how to put my best foot forward. For those of you who are intimidated by the process of setting long-range (and sometimes short-range) goals, this book will set up a non-threatening framework to help you become organized and practical; once that occurs, setting up smaller or shorter-range goals is easier. The later chapters of the book aren't necessarily as useful for me, but the earlier sections have proven that a solid framework and planning-oriented mindset are essential to seriously pursuing goals you've set forth.

Although I prefer Ford's book "The Right Questions" as a way to center oneself and be ready to achieve, "The Best Year of Your Life" turns it all up a notch and invites you to develop an action plan, and better yet, put that plan into action. Highly recommended!
