Book Reviews of For Better or Hearse (Annabelle Archer, Bk 2)

I love this series! This is the 2nd book. You will fall in love with the characters they are so much fun! This one kept me guessing until the end!

2nd book in the series -- another fun read w/great characters and a good mystery!

A great little book. I particulary enjoyed the scene set in a real Georgetown restaurant in which I have dined. Too bad the author didn't describe the bathroom there - as it was something I will always remember...unusual and interesting.

This second book in the series is just as funny as the first. The supporting characters are delightful! I hope the third book isn't too far in the future.

If you like outrageous characters, murder, humour and a great story, this should be right up your alley. I'm anxious to read the next one. Great story, and this gal is really, really funny.

Number 2 in the series. I think it is better than the first one.

I just finished For Better Or Hearse...and loved it! Seriously laugh out loud. I was looking for a new author that would rank up with my favorite Janet Evanovich...and I found her in Laura Durham. Wonderfully written, story line paced along nicely, and the supporting characters are fabulous in their eccentricities. The murder plot was well delivered as I didn't actually guess the real culprit til near the end of the book. I would highly recommend this book to those who are looking for a mystery that is upbeat, hilarious, mildly romantic, fantastic characters and wanting a look into the wild world of wedding planners. Awesome. Kudos to the author...I plan on getting the other books in this series immediately.

Bridezillas have nothing on this mystery.
