I really liked this book. Soups and Stews are filling, comfort foods for anytime, and quick and easy to put together. This had such nice variety.
Not a lot of pictures, but the recipes are easy to follow. About three recipes per page, chapters include: meal mates (hot, cold, and quick), whole meal soups and stews (meat, poultry, fish, seafood, veggie, and quick), and some basic recipes like stocks, noodles, dumplings, cracker and croutons. Both stove top and crockery cooking directions are given to many recipes.
Very good recipes. So many different kinds...something for everyone. It is a keeper.
