Robbins keeps a nice pace the entire book and it never lulls or drags. The sexual content was hot and plenty without an obscene amount, so the story could be taken seriously and its message heard loud and clear. I didn't want the book to end, and it is rare for me to walk away wishing for more from a story/characters...but this is an exception. The story, characters and events have depth and I really enjoyed that it was set in an area of TX I grew up in! I could relate on so many levels with both characters. Jared's struggles with his sexuality played all too close to my heart and his parental issues were nearly identical to my own at that age. Michael...precious, poor in love Michael...love always comes at a price and he's more than willing to pay it! The situations/events in this book are adequately portrayed and I found nothing addressed or situated that came across as far-fetched or unbelievable like most books in this genre. I was enveloped and pulled into this one...a message to the author, Tyler Robbins....I WANT MORE!
