I just wanted to thank all of you for making my membership in PBS so much fun. You have made me feel welcome whenever I post a comment and you've got me reading those books that have been sitting on the shelf just gathering dust.

Have to confess that I've checked out some of your wish lists and I could just kick myself  that I have posted and sent out books that many of you want. In the future, I will check with you before I post!  Thanks again. You are a great bunch

I echo your comments and sentiments ... a book is so much more enjoyable when you have someone to share it with and this HF community is a great group of intelligent, like-minded people with whom we can share comments, opinions and our love of history as given to us in fiction by skilled authors!

As most of you have probably already figured out, I haven't participated in this discussion forum much ... until the Challenge put together by Valli. Yet another benefit of the HF Reading Challenge!

Well, I am glad to have you both! I have really enjoyed talking to you both. Having new people post in the forum gives us all a chance to talk about our old favorite books, and find new ones that could one day be favorites. We have such a great group of people here!

Personally, I think this forum is the best part of PBS. Well, I do love the books... ;-)

Jeanne and Kelly - I agree, this is a great forum and everyone does so much to make you feel welcome.  I joined PBS last July, and have learned so much and been introduced to so many wonderful books by the ladies on this forum.

Hi, Jeanne! I haven't participated in this forum much, either, but I joined the challenge and am having a great time. Nothing better than talking books!

I'm so glad to hear that you folks feel the same. My daughter steered me to this site, but I believe she is too busy to take part in the forums. I tried this just to see what was going on and  was so pleasantly surprised!

Jeanne - I feel the same way!  I've always been a reader, but never really HF.  For the past several years, I took a break from reading fiction, and was reading exclusively non-fiction, and not a lot of that either.  For some reason last spring I had the urge to read again, but wasn't sure what I wanted.  I stumbled across PBS, found the HF forum, and thanks to all the peeps here, I've found my genre'.  I am totally enjoying reading again.  I bought a tall bookshelf at Ikea last fall, and it is now totally full (Mount TBR is huge).  I've got a huge wishlist!  Anyway, this is just a really great forum.  The people here are all so knowledgeable and kind.  I learn so much here and it's so much fun!

Valli - This is totally the best forum at PBS!!
