Books like this give the romance genre a bad name. I was willing to go with the amnesia story line because it is, after all, escapist fiction, but the author completely lost any good feeling I had about the story when the pregnant heroine turned out to be a virgin. The tale is more convoluted than a soap opera with the amnesia, virgin pregnancy, adoption, trick about the baby's father, paralyzing accident, family of origin issues... If you like your heros filthy rich & perfect and your heroines completely powerless, you might enjoy this over the top story. Everyone else should skip it.
