I have a small hardback that I was about to post.  However, the book has some odd issues.  It's a new book that I bought recently from Amazon, but the first and last few pages in the book are wavy.  The pages in the center of the book are hard to open without breaking the spine.  It's not water damage - looking at it, I think the book was bound too tightly which caused the pages at the edges to pucker and the spine to be too stiff to open the book fully in the center.

I'm not sure whether I should post it or not.  I'm reluctant to post something that might be marked RWAP even though I don't think it's damaged.  Usually if I have any question about a book, I just don't post it, but this one has 63 people wishing for it.  Maybe I should post it in the bazaar?  Or am I just being overly paranoid?

There are (mostly newer) books with this binding issue.  Here's a thread that talks about the issue.  The consensus I've seen is that these are postable.  Some members will PM the requestor about the book ahead of time, and some won't.

If you're worried about posting that particular book, you could bring it into a book store and ask for an exchange. If the book was not manufactured properly, most stores will happily trade it for a better copy.

I recently brought a book with warped pages to Borders, with no reciept and no idea which store it was actually bought from, and they had no problem giving me an exchange.
