The Skymasters saga continues, into the wings of honor era, with what I found to be pretty darn accurate depictions of what air combat is all about. The parts that take place on the ground, in the soul and in one's own image awareness as well as the fun-of-flying parts. Those parts, too; are often pure fear as well as pain; these chapters bring it to life.
The Kincaids get totally involved with the Kurman family both in competition and joined efforts in supporting the Army's Air Corps. Kurkin Flight Research is effected by the World War in many ways. Family strife is there as well as Corporate misadventure, but the families do surrive which will bring on the sixth of this nine part sage that I have enjoyed.
