ISBN 0064442128 - Cute illustrations show Biscuit's young owner taking care of him as she tries to put him to bed. The text is simple and beginning readers will pick up the simple words easily, with the illustrations a big help when cues are needed.
A super bedtime book, especially for kids who have something in common with Biscuit - they want a drink, a snack, a hug, one more kiss... will they NEVER go to sleep?!? Of course they will, because just like Biscuit, sooner or later, they're just plain tired!

My daughter loves dogs and, by extension, Biscuit! But I'm not a huge fan of how disobedient Biscuit is in this book. I know it's just a children's story, but I want good models for my kids so it's a little frustrating that Biscuit doesn't do what he's told at all and is labeled "silly" for disobeying. On the plus side, we can talk about what Biscuit did wrong!
5 Stars! Perfect for the beginning reader, whether girl or boy. Biscuit and his owner are adorable.
Biscuit is a little yellow puppy, and like most puppies, he would rather play than go to bed. Will Biscuit ever go to sleep? Really cute and very easy to read.
Preschool
My granddaughter loved this book. It's for early readers and has lots of repetitive words which they love. This is for preschool.
PreSchool level. Part of the I Can REad series that started with the Little Bear books. Large print, colorful pictures, girl and her dog.
A good reader for those starting to read.
Enjoyed reading this book to my young English students in Taiwan. Biscuit (a golden retriever?) is so cute!
