Shane is my fav but ha has his moments in this book. I love the new way she is writing this one. I love that she has started to write the books where you read what Claire is thinking and then there is parts where you a reading what Shane is thinking... I so Love Shane

It's amazing how this series hasn't gotten old and stale yet. I just love the dynamics between Claire, Shane, Eve and Michael -- BFFs through thick and thin. Even gorgeous mind-altering girl vampires can't come between Claire and Shane. This is an exciting and suspenseful installment where Shane and Michael are in the hot seat and Claire and Eve have to rescue them before Amelie destroys everyone and everything. A typical Morganville story with the usual suspects: Bishop, Oliver, Myrnin and Amelie. Thoroughly enjoyable.
